China is massively increasing its missile production capacity, claims CNN

The world is unstable due to war and conflict; in the meantime, the United States and Russia are threatening to test nuclear weapons. An investigative report by the American media outlet CNN has revealed that China is not far behind in this battle of power display and arms race.

According to the information provided by this American media outlet, China has greatly expanded its missile production center in the last five years. While the United States is struggling to meet its own needs by providing missile support to allies like Ukraine and Israel, the picture of China is completely opposite. Satellite image analysis has shown that Beijing has expanded more than 60 percent of its 136 missile-related facilities.

CNN claims that they have identified 99 sites involved in missile production. Of these, 65 have been expanded. In addition, 22 out of the 37 bases under the country's Rocket Force have been expanded in the last five years.

Based on various data and evidence, CNN claims that since 2020, the Xi Jinping administration has expanded an area of 21 million square feet. New factories, weapons research centers, and other new facilities have been built. Various villages and farms have also been cleared for several facilities.

President Xi Jinping has been reorganizing the military since coming to power in 2012. The country's total active military strength is more than 2 million, the highest in the world. According to information, China is increasing its nuclear weapons stockpile faster than any other country in the world. By 2023, 100 new nuclear warheads will be added to their stockpile every year.
